Soft Resin Jaws allow the user to grip the target tightly without marring or scratching the surface. This feature is highly recommended for metals to prevent rust or corrosion that can be caused by scratches on the surface. The built-in spring for self-opening action reduces user effort and strain.
The Soft Resin Jaws are designed to prevent marring the workpiece. The holdable range for the PL-150SC-S is 0.24~1.1" in diameter, while the PL-200SC-S can handle 0.24~1.26" in diameter. These pliers are highly recommended for delicate workpieces, as they feature special asymmetry shape pads for a tight grip. They also have a tether attachment hole for mounting a fall protection.
The resin jaws can be easily replaced without the need for screws. Replacement jaws are sold separately. The cutting capacity for the PL-150SC-S is soft iron AWG12, while the PL-200SC-S can handle soft iron AWG10. The built-in spring for self-opening action reduces the total user effort and strain.
Due to a design update, the new and conventional packages are mixed in the inventory. The handle and resin pads color have been renewed, but the conventional blue spare pads can still be installed on the new design pliers.
