FORGING: Our manufacturing process begins by heating raw metal to over 1,000 degrees and shaping it between two dies on a forging hammer using impact force. This Forging process provides the desired shape and also aligns the grain flow to obtain hardness and strength.
HEAT TREATMENT: After forging and some machining, the pliers undergo heat treatment processes. During the heating and cooling stages, the metal properties are improved or changed in terms of strength, hardness, ductility, elasticity, or wear resistance. Our pliers are heated and cooled under tight controls and receive extra induction hardening on the cutting area to achieve an ideal balance of these properties on each part for superior durability.
SHARPENING: The heat-treated pliers in the best condition are polished and assembled to proceed to the sharpening process, which is the most important step in determining their cutting performance. Our pliers are sharpened piece by piece by experienced artisans through hand-work. The process adjusts even slight deformations caused by the heat treatment, ensuring the pliers obtain the best cutting performance with optimal edge thickness and angle for each purpose.
